Pre-Gives Warm Up Recipe

Is holiday spending starting to stress you out?

Give the gift of Eating Clean by making your own, easy-peasy nut butter for family and friends. Put your butter in pretty mason jars and design unique labels! Don't forget to include the ingredients!

Read on for the recipe below...

1 1/2 cups walnuts (raw or roasted for 15-30 mins in 400 degree Fahrenheit oven)
1 1/2 cup pecans (raw or roasted for 15-30 mins in 400 degree Fahrenheit oven)
1-2tbsp coconut oil (or as needed - depends on consistency of nut butter)
1-2 tbsp Sweet Pure Honey's Cinnamon Honey

Put all ingredients in a food processor and combine for 10-12 minutes or until desire consistency is reached.

  1. i made my cousin peanut butter with dried pomegranates and melted 72% dark chocolate mixed in it last year. needless to say.. she loved it :) love giving homemade goodies and nut butters as a gift!

  2. Do you think I could send the jars across the country?

  3. Sounds very delicious!
Is it possible to replace the pecans with almonds? And will it stay good for long?
    Thanks for sharing Tosca!

  4. YT: Almond butters are made the same way, you just blend them untill buttery. I'd just give it a try!

  5. Any nut can be used. There shouldn't be an issue with shipping, but refrigerate pr keep in a cool, dark place upon arrival. They should keep for a long while.
