The Weekender 2

Packing my cooler for the weekend before running off to do errands!
I received a great response from last weekend's Weekender, so why not do another one.

This time around we'll focus on the worst part of the weekend... a lax schedule!

It's easy during the week to stay on track. You can pack your cooler and take it with you wherever you need to go during the day. Things can be a little different on the weekend. For some of us, the kids are home from school, there's much more time spent at home, and there are lots of social events and gatherings. BUT these are not reasons to ditch your plan.

You can still pack your cooler to accompany you throughout the weekend. It will keep you on track and you won't have to think about what to eat. This is especially helpful when you get caught doing errands that take much longer than they should. Try it out!

I'd like to make these a regular weekend thing especially as we go throughout the summer months when patios and pool parties tempt us away from healthy eating. What would you like me to discuss to motivate you heading into the weekend?

  1. What to do if you indulge at a BBQ? Realistically - it happens. Now, how do we not get upset with ourselves.. what is the best thing we can do after we have that piece of cake?

  2. Eating out with the family at an event. Today I felt like I struggled. My Husband went ahead and bought me a chicken caesar salad. I pushed off all the cheese, did not add croutons, and put very little of the dressing on it. But, what do we do when we have to eat something. People eat so poorly! And I used to be one of them. But, seriously, the choices we have are very yucky.

    Thank you!

  3. Summer time tends to bring about a plethora of sweet treats and a carefree vibe that can add frustration to the best laid plans of staying clean. It would be great to hear your ideas on clean versions of summer treats that won't disrupt goals.
