What a beautiful day! |
This winter wonderland has yet to get me down! The snow-covered hills make for the perfect snowshoeing conditions. I've been trying to get out as often as I can. I love how refreshing it is – the cold wind blowing on your face, the challenge of snow- and ice-covered hills, and the opportunity to get outside! It is now one of my favorite forms of cardio – it also helps replace my summer running schedule.
Break time! |
Here are some photos from my last snowshoe adventure. It was so cold I almost froze my chin. Luckily my best companions, Maggie and Davie, kept me company in the icy conditions.
Maggie loves this weather! |
The end of a great snow shoe! |
It looks like sisterinspeedTammy also had some canine company on her run this weekend. Get outside one of these days and enjoy the cold!
Stay up to date with our Sisters in Speed and their training for the 2011 Boston Marathon on the Kitchen Table!
Bundle up,
Tosca Reno

ReplyDeleteI've tried snow shoeing and it's a great workout for the glutes! It feels like being on a step machine except you're outdoor in the fresh air.
