EXTRA!!!

Good Saturday Morning everyone,

Today is THE day. I am so thrilled to have my segment on Extra today.

I won't be able to catch it because I'm on the booth all day. Let me know how it is if you see it.

It's the Ambush Lifestyle Makeover Series... Hopefully you'll be able to find the channel. Here is a link to find it when it airs in your city: http://extratv.warnerbros.com/about/whenitson.php.

We're into Day 2 at the Arnold (catch me on Twitter) and Day 10 of the challenge. WOOHOO!!! I'm feeling good and meeting tons of Clean Eaters.

My voice is a little hoarse though.

  5. Hi Tosca,

Just watched your segment on Extra and I loved it! My nephew has both Type I and II Diabetes, so he's been eating healthy, unprocessed food since he was diagnosed.

I just have a question about my eating.

I usually eat cooler 2 since I was a fairly active individual. At the end of January, I was involved in a car accident, and am now restricted to low impact cardio and the only weights I'm lifting are less than 5 pounds. Should I be eating the same amount of protein or should I scale it back a bit?

  6. Hi Tosca, I have done cooler 1 in the past for two weeks and got good results, and I always follow cooler two. Do you think the fact that you periodically go on cooler 1 is the reason you have the excellent results of reducing belly fat? I still have some residual belly fat (three kids) and age 47. I have no complaints about the rest of my body, as I am very fit and look better than ever. Thanks for your time!

  7. Tosca, you look awesome!!!! I have a Q. How do you firm up the lower part of your glutes. I do very well with the upper part but have a hard time isolating the part that flows into the hamstrings. Thankyou.

  8. Tosca can you work the abs everyday. Is it more effective to do that . Or can you at least switch it up and occasionally challenge them everyday to give yourself a boost?

  9. Hi Tosca,
Can you work your calves everyday? I think the answer is yes but I'm not sure. Would you be damaging unrepaired fibers if you did?

  10. Hi Tosca,
I have a question about belly fat too...is it more the food you eat or how active you are to get them flat? Which exercises for lower abs and How many reps/sets and how often per week?

  12. Hey Tosca,

You were the highlight of the Expo for me when it came to the people I encountered. My boyfriend and I were there both Saturday and Sunday, and boy was it a zoo our first day and first trip to the Classic for that matter. I cannot wait for the Mens Clean Eating book to hit the racks for him, he is my workout partner and while he's been enjoying the food he hasn't fully gotten to appreciate the clean eating phenomena yet. When I came across Oxygen and Clean Eating a little over a year ago, I had let myself balloon up to 215 I am proud to say while the ultimate goal has not been acheived yet it is well on the way. These days I am weighing in at 157 and have increased my muscle exponentially. Thanks for putting the knowledge you and your colleagues have gained to good use and sharing them with those that need it. Looking forward to next year when I am able to strut through the exhibition hall with a little less cargo and a lot more confidence.

    Joyce from Ohio.

  13. Tosca would you suggest that if your work out lasts longer than an hour (wts only) that it is too long. I like the idea of feeling energized when leaving the gym. i do, but sometimes i feel exhausted. i do like to listen to my body. i am trying to figure out a good routine for me to get in 3 cardios at least a week but i will not give up wts to do so. i get in the 3 plus cardios but leave feeling wooped at times after pushing myself to extreme. i usually do interval training. I almost think i should concentrate on walking at a incline at intervals at 35%. It really makes me sweat and can get my heart rate without exhausting my legs. I should mention i would consider myself in excellent cardio shape and have been lifting wts for 25 plus years. What do you think. Sorry so long.
