Strike Sugar with Tea & Win DAVIDsTEA

Brewing tea to help you conquer Strike Sugar September is an absolute must.

Not only will sipping keep your mouth occupied, it will also keep cravings at bay. Especially if you choose a naturally sweet variety, like licorice mint or sweet basil.

I have these options in my cupboard, as well as a few special options from DAVIDsTEA. Their Forever Nuts and Carrot Cake teas are incredible! And incredibly deceptive. Your sweet cravings will fly away.

Luckily, DAVIDsTEA has been kind enough to sponsor our giveaway today to help you along the way!

Simply leave a comment below about what tea you like and how it helps you Strike Sugar.

Come back tomorrow to find out if you are a winner.

P.S. Still missing a little sweet in your tea? Skip spoonfuls of sugar & try a dash of stevia.

  5. I LOVE tea. My biggest cupboard in the kitchen is filled with tea... mint, green, jasmine, camomile, roboois, maple, lemon balm, blueberry...are just a few of my favorites. I love to rotate the flavours for variety. At night when I wind down for bed, a nice tea helps fill me up so I stop munching. I also love to drink tea with my meals instead of water to up my water intake (caffeine free of course). I would love, love to try some of the teas you mentioned to add to my rotation:)

It's a blend of chrysanthemum, saffron, marigolds, cardamom, organic hibiscus, peppermint, sarsaparilla, raspberry leaf, organic holy basil, lemon and peach. And being caffeine free makes it great for before bed.

  59. I love David's Tea! I got hooked on it last year when some friends gave us some tea with our wedding gift. Right now I am addicted to pumpking spice tea, it fits perfectly with this chilly fall weather we have been having in Edmonton, and it makes me feel nice and cozy while studying! Sweeter teas, like vanilla and chamomile, help me get through sugar cravings. On the other hand, sometimes I'll hit my sugar craving with something bitter like a strongly steeped green tea to completely direct my tastebuds away from sugar.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm a fan of brewing tea and creating iced tea... Unsweetened most days or adding a bit of organic honey on the crazy sugar craving days. I take it with me every where, especially on walks. I drink matcha (or non-powdered) Japanese green tea every morning, and it helps me start the day off right. During the afternoon, I drink oolong or black tea with chai spices (both are heart healthy--especially black tea; and oolong helps boost metabolism), which really help keep me from reaching for a sweet snack!
