Thank you so much to everyone who participated in yesterday's giveaway. Winners will be contacted soon. Now, onto our next GIVEAWAY for the 25 Days of Gives!
Today's GIVE is all about memories. How often do you get stuck with tons of photos that never get developed? Today I encourage you to share the memories. Develop those digital pictures and tuck them into picture frames, wall collages or a photobook. I love my MacBook iPhoto program that allows me to create my own. Young or old - people love to look at the photos that are always taken (but never seem to be shared these days).
What are your ideas for sharing photos? To keep going with the photo theme, today I'll be giving away 3 signed photos to the first 3 people who comment with their photo-sharing ideas on this post right here on the blog!
Scrapbooks are my favorite way to share. They can highlight great events, memories and special times while allowing you to be creative with layouts!
ReplyDeleteI share photos in two ways, first on Facebook. Our families don't live in the same city (our extended even the same province). Family who have never seen my kids have watched them grow. The second is family scrapbooks. My kids love looking at all the fun things our family have done or visits we've had or just the everyday memories I like to capture.
ReplyDeleteI like making personalized photo books for people. It's really nice to think of them as you go through pictures and choose those that you think that particular person will enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am not much of a scrapbooker but just love to share my photos on facebook first. I then put then in a digital frame for all my nearby friends and family to see. It's an easy way to share hundreds of photos without turning hundreds of pages.
ReplyDeleteI love giving memory books to my friends after their weddings. So in addition to their professional pictures they also get all the funny pics everyone else took :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift for pictures is digital frames. For my parents I preload pictures of the grand kids.
ReplyDeleteI've set up a fun photobooth in the basement for people to play with during the holidays, good camera, tons of props. Tons of hilarious pictures evolve from it. Then I take the best of them and put them up on a giant bulletin board "Wall of Fame".
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Photo Walls... I love seeing them in peoples houses as much as I love seeing them in my own... it's like a gallery with the best kind of art, your FAMILY and LOVED ONES.
ReplyDeleteMy Favorite way to Share Photos is via personalised mini books that I make for the recipient or in keeping with my comment above... Shadow Boxes in which I include 3d mementos that go with the theme of the event/person/etc...
I love use photo books. Every year I send one to my mother-in-law and brother-in-law. They loved looking at them. It's a great way to show them our year in review and how our kids grown over the year.
