Give Day 6: Give Meal Tips

Spiraling carrots with my Spiruli for easy use in salads and soups.

There are so many days when time is tight during the holiday season as you prep for parties, feasts and more. Share your favorite emergency meal strategy with us - just remember to keep it clean.

Here's mine - as soon as I get home from the grocery store I cut up my fruit and veg so they are ready for easy cooking and snacking! This is the perfect way to keep you on track.

What's your tip?

  1. My favorite "save me time" strategy is to buy my meat in bulk and then clean it, season/marinate it (always clean marinades) , divide it and freeze it in freezer bags. This way my meat is ready to go and infused with flavour!!!

  2. My favorite "save time tip" is to prepare lunches for the week on the weekend. Prep any fish/meats, dish out snacks into containers, so that all you have to do the night before is take what containers you need.

  3. I would always cook for 3 days and when I get my veggies from the store like fresh spinach ,bell peppers, brocooli, cilantro I wash them and put them in fridge so they r ready to use...I also freeze the zucchini when I first cut it because I use them to make gravies they work out perfect!
