I'm an NTP!!!

Practicing taking blood pressure on my partner Ig!
Thanks for being such a good sport.
It's official! I am finally a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (an NTP)! Wahhoooo!

While everyone else in Canada was enjoying turkey time with their family, I was finishing my course in Las Vegas. It wasn't fun Las Vegas... it was studying, practicing and exam-writing Vegas! But after 10 long months of classes, studying, practical workshops and exams I finally finished. And with flying colors I might add.

Thank you to the Nutritional Therapy Association for offering such a unique course that took my understanding and knowledge of nutrition to an entirely new level. You challenged me and encouraged me to grow, learn and now share my knowledge with others.

Those "others" are YOU! My readers out there who have supported me from the start. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. I couldn't have done it without you!
Celebrating NTP success with my husband Robert
and my classmates Ann and Ig at Botero restaurant in the Encore.

  2. How is this different from a registered dietician/nutritionist? I'm looking for nutrition coursework and do not want to have to take a whole college curiculum in order to do it. How do you feel about credibility when people ask the difference? Would love your input. dianne1268@hotmail.com

  4. I took the 2 yr program Registered Holistic Nutrition program through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. It's gruelling but so educational. You should be so proud of yourself! BTW...I love your dress & shoes!

  5. Congratulations, Tosca. I met you back at the local Farmer's Market in the summer and I remember you saying how you were studying then and now it's finally all over! Such an amazing accomplishment! You're done, yet I'm just into midterms! You look amazing in the photo above - what an awesome celebration!!!

    Cheers to nutrition!!!!!

  6. HI Tosca,

I am wondering why you took this program rather than a Canadian one? I am looking into this myself and am not sure what the benefits are of the NTP versus the Canadian diploma program at the School of Natural Nutrition. Thanks!

    1. I am also curious about this.

I just registered for the program at the Canadian School Of Natural Nutrition, and am wondering if this is now the right choice!

      Thanks!,

  8. Hello!

I am interested in the NTP program as well! I live in Ontario so I have the same question as Jen. Why did you take the online NTP course rather than a Canadian one such as the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition?

What are the governing regulations for certification or licensing in Canada if you are an NTP??

    Thank you :)
