What a cute family! We used to live outside TO (Oakville) so I remember the weather is unpredictable. We live north of Detroit now-same unpredictable weather.

ReplyDeleteIn my cookbook I have a couple of cookie recipes including Breakfast Fruit and Nut and Whole-Wheat Flax. In the Eat-Clean Diet book I have a recipe for Grandmother's Favorite Oatmeal Cookies. These are the cookies I make for my family at Christmas, so I would recommend these. My kids devour the oatmeal cookies and the recipe makes A LOT!
As for Splenda, I don't use it in my cooking because it is a chemically processed food. As you know, I don't like processed foods. I would suggest trying another sugar replacement such as Rapadura sugar, Agave nectar, or Sucanat in your recipe and replace the flour with quinoa flour. You have definitely encouraged me to do some more experimenting this Christmas with cookie recipes. Thank you. Keep warm north of Detroit, Heather. You're definitely in a snow belt there!
