Day 9 of Giving: Give the Little Things

By now you've likely realized that we do our best to focus our 25 Days of Giving on small, heartfelt, low-cost gifts.

And in honor of the start of Hannukah, which began last night, I am sharing my top 8 ways I really like to Give. Try these out over the next 8 days to really feel the holiday magic in your heart.

Best of all, you can do these all year long...

1. Wake up someone special in your life with coffee (or tea!).

2. Spend some time watching your favorite holiday films with your loved ones.

3. Visit a local charity in your community and donate what you can (check out The Salvation Army and Clothesline programs).

4. Donate to your local food bank, and be sure to leave a can or two of food in the donation bins located on the way out of your grocery store.

5. Bake holiday treats for your neighbor or coworker in need. Check out Clean Eating magazine's Latkes with Apple-Yogurt Dip or these super yummy Pecan & Cran Holiday cookies.

6. Take your friend to the gym with you to share one of your favorite workouts.

7. Carve out time in your busy schedule to make holiday crafts with a few special kids in your life. Then you can help them decorate their houses for the holidays.

8. Put together a family cookbook of your favorite Eat-Clean family recipes to share with your loved ones. Don't forget to share your special tips on each one. Best of all, you're encouraging health and wellness for the year ahead.

What are your ideas?

  1. All great ideas Tosca! Thanks for sharing them!

    My ideas are:

    1)Snow shoveling help for others.

    2) Have quilt making parties and donate finished quilts to those in need.

3)Get together for knitting and crocheting and make hats/mittens/blankets for groups that collect these items for donation.

4)Help out at my local humane society. Animals need love too!

5)Read letters and books to residents in the nursing home that can no longer see well.

    6)Give the gift of blood!

7)Paint fingernails for residents at the nursing home.

8)Bring meals to shut ins and then sit and enjoy food and conversation with them!

  4. It is no secret that I have a very deep and personal relationship with God. I have pushed and resisted that relationship this past year through all the bullshit I have had to go through living with Herpes but once again, God is bigger than my stubbornness and broke through that outbreak cold sore and all I had Genital Herpes. For me personally, hearing over and over how I am not good enough has really invaded my mind in the worst way possible. I completely shut down and I was just waking up like is this how life going to end this temporary herpes outbreak “fuck everybody with herpes if you know what I mean” but let's be honest here...It is a cowardly to say no to herbal medicine. It is fear based. And it is dishonest to what my heart wants. Don't build a wall around yourself because you are afraid of herbals made or taking a bold step especially when it's come to health issues and getting cure. So many young men/ women tell me over and over that Dr Itua is going to scam me but I give him a try to today I feel like no one will ever convince me about herbal medicine I accept Dr Itua herbal medicine because it's cure my herpes just two weeks of drinking it and i have been living for a year and months now I experience outbreak no more, You can contact him if you need his herbal medicine for any such diseases like,HIV,Epilepsy Infertility, Herpes, Hepatitis, Schizophrenia,Cancer,Fibromyalgia,Fluoroquinolone Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva.Dupuytren's disease,Desmoplastic,Diabetes ,Coeliac disease,Prostate Cancer,Blood Cancer,Lung Cancer,Brain Cancer,Colo-Rectal Cancer,Love Spell,Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy,Hpv,Weak Erection,Wart Remover. Ataxia,Arthritis,Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis,Alzheimer's disease,Adrenocortical carcinoma.Asthma,Allergic, Love Spell,. Email..drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com then what's app.+2348149277967.... My advice to any sick men/women out there is simple... Be Always an open book. Be gut wrenching honest about yourself, your situation, and what you are all about. Don't hold anything back. Holding back will get you nowhere...maybe a one way ticket to lonelyville and that is NOT somewhere you want to be. So my final truth...and I'm just starting to grasp this one..
