My youthful mom on her 75th birthday in August.
Our 25 Days of Giving continues.
Today's GIVE:
Today I am giving my mother a shopping trip to the Bayview Village Mall (her absolute favorite shopping experience) for the holidays.
While I am the mall I will be especially aware of opening doors for others, especially older individuals.
Is there an elderly person in your life you can help out today?
Try this "give" or share one of your own.
You look so much like your mom. You are both so beautiful and an inspiration to me. Thanks for the Days of Giving idea. Love your new book Tosca!

My mom is having surgery on her foot next Thursday that is going to lay her out for a few weeks. My grandma is coming to help around her house, but my "give" is to try and be there for both of them and do what I can to make sure my grandma doesn't work too hard (she's a very youthful 80, and runs circles around the rest of us!)
ReplyDeleteToday, I helped the opposite of an elderly person- I helped to bring a new life into the world.
ReplyDeleteAs a nursing student, I am blessed to give and give and give. I am especially glad I got to give my excitement to this new family.
I take my elderly neighbor's garbage out.
ReplyDeleteTell your mom, she doesn't look elderly! She looks attractive, fun and vibrant - just like her daughter.
