Could Clean Eaters Be Olympians?

We Canadians are excited... The Olympics will take over Vancouver in the winter of 2010.

I just found this great article online discussing the nutritional intake of Olympians as they train to be at the top of their game. Interestingly enough they Eat Clean without even knowing it.

Check it out here (especially hockey player Hayley Wickenheiser's plan at the bottom of the article... look familiar??).

  1. Okay, that article made me hungry! If only I had a full time cook:)

  2. "...not only do you need food for your body, but people forget you need food for your brain!"..

    So true! Great article!

  3. what a great article. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!

  4. Tosca! I really need your help I see that you answer your readers questions so I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I know you said your daughter went through an eating disorder so I'm sure you could help me. I recently developed an eating disorder myself first I developed Anorexia Nervosa and then because my body couldn't handle not eating I turned to Bulimia. It was very bad in the beginning I was bingeing and purging 5 times or more a day then for a few months I seemed to get better I found out about your book, and I was weight lifting and eating right. But then a few weeks ago I started relapsing and I've come to terms that I can't do this on my own anymore. I want to tell my parents and my boyfriend but I'm so scared I don't know what they are going to say or do. Plus I know that insurance won't cover the costs we don't have that money to spend so that I can get the help I need. Even if I do tell them what can they do? Some advice would be much appreciated.
